Miss Fizzle is a teacher who has a secret “weapon” to keep her students actively busy with their science themes. Her school bus is able to take them through the waterworks or deep into the interior of the earth or even into a beehive. There are so many in the series and some will argue that they are twaddle, but your child will love them! The books are full of interesting facts and appeal to the visual learners.

Simple Science Experiments for the Very Young, Dorling Kindersley
These experiments are exactly for your children. They are based on main pre science thoughts around water, air, light and sound. You can do a lot of fun activities with your children or in a weekly or monthly “little Einstein” group.

Usborne Science Activities
These three books are the best choice for a busy mom. Each chapter concentrates on an area e.g. science with your body or science with water. Then a double page spread is dedicated to teaching the principal and a few easy experiments to drive the principal home. There are 30 experiments in each book.

101 Great Science Experiments, Dorling Kindersley
This is a large, colorful, fun science book. It includes fun practical science demonstrations, many of which can be done with common household items. This book is written at a level that young grade-schoolers can comprehend, and includes science topics as high as middle school levels. It includes eleven various areas from air and gases to motion and machines. You can do many of these projects with your children. This book is a nice addition to a homeschool library.

101 Great Nature Experiments, Dorling Kindersley
The book is full of color photographs, which help you visualize the materials you need for the experiments. This is a helpful book for bored kids in the summertime, because a lot of the experiments require bugs and the outdoors,  but also, there are things that two kids could do on a rainy day, especially the experiments in the chapter called "The Human Body."

Starting Computers, Susan Meredith, Usborne
Your children will have a great fun learning how to use “Paint” with this book to create drawings, plans and cards. It is very easy to read the text because the font is large, although very new readers will need your help with the context of some words. This book is a good springboard for further computer studies.
