| Homeschooling Dads | • Have respect for your husband and teach your children to respect him as well. Don’t dispute with your husband in front of your kids. Inspirit them to be delighted with him.
• Don’t let your husband go back to disobedient home night after night. Discipline your kids. Work together as a family to create an atmosphere of happiness and harmony.
• Give your husband time to calm down before asking him to deal with matters you can’t handle. Let him use the restroom, change clothing and sit down before talking about problems.
• You should try to manage your housework according to your husband’s standards. Teach your kids to clean up after themselves and help you with small routine tasks. If an untidy house does not trouble your husband, consider yourself blessed!
• Be grateful! If your husband works all day long and return home every night, you have it better than some women. Every marriage has room for perfection, but we can decide to focus on the good. Make a list of things you are grateful for and refer to it as often as possible.
• You don’t have to organize a fancy date night and employ a baby sitter. Make time for your husband. Stop sweeping up and address your husband with a smile when he comes home from work. Establish a quiet time during the day for you to have a rest when he comes home. Make popcorn and watch movies after the children are in bed. If all your husband wants to do is watch basketball, take a magazine and sit with him.
• Rest the woman your husband married. Don’t turn yourself into the ideal homeschooling mom, be your husband’s ideal. Look after your appearance, clothes, style, and personality appeal to your husband – not other homeschoolers. Your husband married you for a reason!
