| Learning Techniques | It is recommended for a child of a physical style to use touch, action, movement and hands-on work in their learning activities. For visualization, they should focus on the sensations they would expect in every situation. For instance, if they are visualizing a tack on a sailboat, they may focus on physical sensations and feel the pressure against their hands as they turn the rudder, and the tension lessening on the ropes.
For assertions and scripting parents should describe their children the physical feelings of their actions. They should use physical objects as much as possible. Children physically will touch objects as they learn about what they do. Flashcards can help them memorize information because they can touch and move them around.
Writing and drawing diagrams are physical activities so they can also be helpful. Parents can use big sheets of paper and large color markers for the diagrams.
It is also recommended to use breathing and relaxation to focus children’s state while they learn and perform and focus on staying calm, centered, relaxed and aware.
Parents may use role-playing, either singularly or with someone else, to practice skills and behaviors as well. They should find ways to act out or simulate what their children are learning.
