Home Schooling Laws in Israel.
 Home education is legal in Israel.
Although, permission to home school should be officially taken, many families educate at home without it and have no problems with government and laws.
So, for parents decided to home educate their children officially, it is necessary to receive the permission from the Ministry of Education.
Parents are required to write a letter to their local Ministry of Education representative with the request for permission.
The Ministry's guidelines say that they are supposed to explain the reasons that made them to decide home schooling. Parents should include also their child's name and ID number, as well as their own.
Home schoolers in Israel who have received such permission have been required to contact with their local education authorities.
