Students enroll to Franklin & Marshall to study broad spectrum of economic, cultural and racial backgrounds. For students in the top 10% of their class, standardized testing is optional. The secondary school record is the primary focus of admission evaluation. Early decision applications may be submitted by November 15 for notification by December 15 or January 15 for notification by February 15; regular applications must be submitted by February 1. A first-year class of about 500 students is selected from a pool of over 3,600 applicants.
